Alfa Romeo’s winning streak in the "Autonis" election goes back more than a decade and continues to this day. Over 14,000 readers of the magazine “Auto Motor und Sport" elected the Alfa Romeo Tonale as the "Best Design Innovation 2022" in the compact SUV category.

In this 22nd edition of "Autonis", 92 new models from eleven categories faced the judgment of expert readers. With a 30.2 percent share of the vote, the Brand's first electrified model clearly prevailed over its competitors. However, Alfa Romeo’s victories in the “Autonis” design competition are a fine tradition: in the past editions, the readers of "Auto Motor und Sport" choose the Alfa Romeo models Giulietta, MiTo, Giulia, and Stelvio as the "Best Design Innovation" of the year. Once again, the Brand has succeeded in combining innovative technology and high functionality with typical Italian style.
